Marie Christine Dorner has completely refurbished the residence, using local know-how.Her encounter with local craftmen in the Manila area has lead her to design veneer abaca wood pieces of furniture. She chose paintings from the Fond National d’ Arts Contemporains for her project. The big red metallic sculpure at the entrance of the Residence has been created by Henri Etève, a French artist who has been living in the Philippines for 30 years.
