Miniature skyscrapers ? Giant pixels ? Fun and theatrical, the revisited sub-dish becomes a pedestal in a construction game  where the 2D pieces are put together in 3D set. Processed in its thickness  to combine volume and lightness with a soft touch, cork pedestal enhances the beauty of the objects presented. Diligent and discreet host, the cork pedestal brings an asian harmony of materials, colors, finishes and shapes.

 

In the wake of her previous thrust ‘ Matiere Matters’ and this cork experiment, Marie Christine Dorner has created a new opportunity to move the boundaries and blur the limits. She invites us to change our paradigm about cork by assigning a new function : Its beauty.
